WHY: The New York City Marine Corps Council and the New York Council, Navy League have teamed up to co-sponsor this Christmas party and toy drive to help support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Manhattan campaign . They will accept new, unwrapped toys or other contributions at the event, which will include Guest of Honor and retired Marine Lt. Gen. Henry P. Osman, president of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. COST: $60 per person includes heavy hors d’ oeuvres and cheese buffet, plus open bar with beer, wine and soda.
